Proxies
Every profile requires a saved proxy.
Accepted format
Section titled “Accepted format”Open Proxies and enter one proxy per line:
host:port:username:passwordExamples:
proxy.example.com:8000:user-01:password[2001:db8::1]:8000:user-02:password:with:colonsBlank lines are ignored. IPv6 hosts must be wrapped in brackets. The first three separators identify the host, port, and username; the remaining text is treated as the password.
Test and save
Section titled “Test and save”- Enter the complete list you want to retain.
- Select Test proxies.
- Review the result beside each line.
- Correct every rejected line.
- Select Save proxies.
Saving is all-or-nothing. If one entry is invalid or would remove a locked entry, the list is not
partially saved. Saved passwords appear only as [saved] and are never displayed again.
Assignments and sticky exits
Section titled “Assignments and sticky exits”The Assignments section shows whether a saved proxy is already used. An assigned entry is locked against deletion. Removing it from the text area will be rejected until its assignments are gone.
During profile creation, Cantero Madera runs a live proxy check and records the external IP metadata. Creation fails if another active profile already uses the same sticky exit IP. Two different proxy credentials can still resolve to the same exit, so testing only the text format is not enough.
